The BISS Board and the Shareholders' Assembly carry out control and advisory functions, appoint and recall directors and approve long-term projects of the institute.

Ales Antsipenka. Shareholder and member of the BISS Board. Educator and publicist. Member of the Belarusian Association of Journalists.

Ales Lahvinets. Shareholder and member of the BISS Board. Belarusian politician and political scientist. Founder and leader of the 'Dzieya' (Action) movement.

Prof. Andrei Vardomatski. Shareholder and member of the BISS Board. Founder and head of the NovAK sociological laboratory and the Belarusian analytical workshop.

Andrei Mickiewicz. Member of the BISS Board. Belarusian businessman. Chairman of the European Business Association.

Andrey Dynko. Shareholder and member of the BISS Board. Belarusian journalist and media expert. Founder of the magazines 'ARCHE' and 'Our History'. For many years he was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper ‘Nasha Niva’.

Former shareholders or members of the BISS Board:

Pavel Daneyka, a Belarusian economist, head of the Institute of Privatization and Management and BEROC, was a shareholder and member of the BISS Council for over ten years. In September 2019, he transferred his share to Ales Lahvinets.

The BISS Board preserves the bright memory of Siarhei Pankouski (1956 - 2009) and Piotr Martsau (1962-2014), who stood at the origins of BISS, actively participated in its formation, but untimely passed away.
