Pakhi Gauba, a student of International Relations at Amity University, Noida (India), has begun her research internship at BISS.
In the past, Pakhi was a field analyst in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of India, worked with the Essel Group, Amity School Of Communication, Young India Foundation, and Country and Politics initiative.
Pakhi is the author of the book ‘Feelings And A Pen - the Chaos Inside My Head’ and the founder of ‘The Scimemoir Writer’ (a blog aiming at integrating Science and Literature).
A winner of various awards in the field of writing, anchoring, reporting, and poetry.
Research interests include: human rights, international relations and cross-cultural analysis.
Apart from her mother tongue Hindi, she commands English and, at the level of basic communication, German and Spanish.
Within her internship, Pakhi will investigate Belarus - India relantionships. It is expected that it will result in publishing a mini-research on the topic. As of now, the new intern has published a blog-genre article COVID-19 in India: How the Largest Democracy Deals with the Pandemic on our website.
