On 1 November 2013, BISS Analyst Andrei Yeliseyeu participated in a presentation held by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The event was dedicated to the publication of the report “Population Trends and Policy Responses”.
Andrei Yeliseyeu presented a report on the influence of migration processes on Belarus’s society and economy, as well as the results of the BISS study focusing on migration intentions in society.
Attending the event were Tatyana Pronko, Programme Associate at United Nations Population Fund, Natallia Karavaja, consultant of the Department of Targeted Social Assistance and Social Services of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and Tacciana Mialieška, Chief Inspector for Special Commissions of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
