Financial crisis hit first the demand for investment goods whose export directly affects the survival of the Belarusian economy. The anti-crisis measures of the Belarusian authorities only partially help to restore competitiveness of the exports. Those are main conclusions of the BISS analytical report “The Impact of the Worldwide Financial Crisis on Competitive Positions of Belarus on the Russian Commodity Markets” presented by the economist of the IPM Research Center Dzmitry Kruk.
