Last call for applications to take part in the 3rd International Congress of Belarusian Studies—10 June 2013

The 3rd International Congress of Belarusian Studies will take place on 11-13 October 2013 in Kaunas, Lithuania. The deadline for individual applications is 10 June 2013.

Some 300 specialists from around the world studying Belarus and the CEE region are expected to take part in the event. The Congress focuses on research in social studies and humanities. Further, the Congress will feature discussions of regional problems, Belarus’ engagement with other countries, and highly relevant scientific and public discussions.

The working languages of the Congress are Belarusian and English (simultaneous interpretation into these two languages will be provided at plenary and joint sessions). Additional languages spoken at the Congress include Russian, Polish and Lithuanian. Speakers are welcome to share their messages and present reports in Belarusian, English, Lithuanian, Polish and Russian.

The participants will be enabled to have their speeches printed as abstracts or individuals articles.
